Question, Persuade, Refer Training - the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
The mission of QPR Training is to save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.
Suicide can be prevented. Just as individuals are trained in the Heimlich to save a life, those who participate in QPR Training are able to identify warning signs during crisis and learn how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
Please join East Hampton Youth & Family Services on Thursday, May 16 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the East Hampton High School. An admission fee of $5 per person will be collected for materials used in the training.
